Seasonal Cleanup

Seasonal Cleanup in Orlando, FL

Central Florida's seasons don't look like the rest of the country's — but they're just as real. The transition from dry season to rainy season, the end of hurricane season, and the aftermath of a tropical storm all create cleanup windows where properties need more than routine maintenance. We provide seasonal and post-storm cleanup that resets your landscape and gets it ready for what comes next.

What's Included

Cleanup Services for Every Central Florida Season

Florida has four distinct landscape seasons, each creating specific cleanup needs. We handle them all — as one-time cleanup events, as scheduled seasonal services built into your maintenance contract, or as emergency response after storm events.

  • Post-Storm Debris Cleanup

Central Florida's afternoon thunderstorm season (June–September) and hurricane season (June–November) deposit a constant stream of broken branches, fallen palm fronds, scattered debris, and occasionally downed limbs on properties across the metro. Our post-storm cleanup crews remove all debris from turf areas, beds, driveways, parking lots, and rooflines — hauled completely off-site, not just piled at the street. Active maintenance clients get priority scheduling after significant weather events.

  • Annual Deep Cleanup

Even a well-maintained landscape accumulates things over a full year that routine mowing and trimming don't address: spent annuals, winterkilled tropical plants, overgrown groundcovers that have crept beyond their beds, decomposed mulch that's compacted to a thin mat, and landscape bed areas that have gradually become weedy. An annual deep cleanup — typically scheduled in late February or March as dry season winds down — pulls all of this out, resets beds, and prepares the landscape for spring planting and the summer growth flush.

  • Dead Plant Removal & Bed Refresh

Cold snaps in December and January — even mild ones by non-Florida standards — kill or damage frost-sensitive tropicals: impatiens, pentas, ixora, bird of paradise, and many annual color plantings can all suffer cold injury in a 35-degree night. We remove damaged and dead material promptly, which prevents fungal disease from spreading to healthy neighboring plants and allows you to see clearly what needs to be replaced before investing in new seasonal color for spring.

  • Leaf Removal

Florida doesn't have a traditional fall leaf drop, but it does have leaf litter — from non-native deciduous trees (water oaks, laurel oaks) that drop leaves in late winter and early spring, from live oaks that briefly exchange their old leaves in February and March, and from ornamental trees and palms throughout the year. Leaf accumulation in beds smothers groundcover and creates ideal habitat for pests and disease. We remove leaf litter from beds and hard surfaces as part of our seasonal cleanup services.

  • Pressure Washing Walkways & Surfaces

Concrete walkways, driveways, pool decks, and entry pavers accumulate algae, mold, and grime quickly in Florida's humidity. Green-coated concrete is a safety hazard and a visual liability for commercial properties. We pressure wash hardscaped surfaces as part of seasonal cleanup packages, removing biological growth and staining that routine landscape maintenance doesn't address. Commercial properties particularly benefit from entry area and walkway pressure washing scheduled before high-traffic seasons or events.

  • Hurricane Season Prep & Post-Season Reset

Pre-hurricane prep (before June 1) includes removing deadwood, securing or removing lightweight decorative items, and clearing potential projectile debris from the landscape. Post-hurricane season (after November 30) is an ideal time for a full landscape assessment — documenting any storm damage, replacing plants killed by salt spray or wind stress, freshening mulch that storms scattered, and scheduling any tree work needed before the new year. We offer dedicated hurricane-season transition cleanups for HOA and commercial clients on annual contracts.

How We Work

Scheduling Your Seasonal Cleanup

Seasonal cleanups work best when they're planned around Florida's landscape calendar rather than scheduled reactively. We map out cleanup windows when you start service and include them in your annual maintenance plan so the timing is right every year.

01

Assessment & Scope Development

Before any cleanup, we walk the property to assess the full scope: volume of debris, condition of beds, extent of dead plant material, and any areas needing special attention. For commercial and HOA properties, a written scope document is provided so you know exactly what will be done and can plan for crew access. One-time cleanups and annual cleanup packages are both available.

02

Crew Deployment & Execution

Cleanup crews are sized for the property. A thorough cleanup of a 2-acre commercial property takes a different crew configuration than a residential cleanup, and we schedule appropriately. All material is removed from the property — not left in street-side piles that create their own liability issues. Post-storm emergency cleanups are prioritized for active maintenance clients; we staff up after major weather events to handle volume.

03

Post-Cleanup Report & Recommendations

After cleanup, we provide a summary of what was removed and flag any landscape issues uncovered during the process: plants with frost damage that should be replaced, spots where storm debris caused turf damage, irrigation heads that were uncovered or found broken, and any tree concerns. This gives you an actionable list of follow-up items rather than just a clean property that hides underlying issues.

Why Orlando Property Owners Call Us First After a Storm

Storm Experience Since 2015

We've been cleaning up Central Florida properties after tropical systems, named storms, and the everyday summer squalls that drop branches on parking lots across Orange County. We have the equipment — chippers, large capacity trucks, debris trailers — to handle everything from a few fallen palm fronds to widespread debris after a named storm. We don't subcontract storm cleanup; our own crews handle it with the same professionalism as any other service.

Commercial Priority Response

A parking lot full of storm debris closes a business. A debris-strewn HOA entrance sends exactly the wrong message to residents and visitors. We prioritize our active commercial and HOA maintenance clients for post-storm dispatch, ensuring that properties with on-going service contracts get cleanup crews mobilized first. If you're managing multiple commercial properties, we can coordinate a single dispatch to address all locations efficiently.

Built Into Your Annual Plan

Seasonal cleanups shouldn't be something you have to remember to call about each year. For our maintenance contract clients, we schedule annual deep cleanups, pre-hurricane prep visits, and post-season assessments as calendar items within your maintenance agreement. You get the benefit of proactive, timed service without having to track Florida's seasonal cleanup windows yourself.

Service Area
